About Caitlin

How I Came To Be A Doula

When I was 16, my mother became pregnant with my little brother. As a teenager, I was very uninterested in her pregnancy and distracted by my budding teenage independence. However, the day she went into labor, I was welcomed into her labor room and chose to stay throughout my brother's birth, which took place in the middle of the night. Witnessing my brother's birth was transformational for me and something I will always cherish.

After that experience, I became extremely interested in midwifery. In my research, I came across the role of a doula. This clicked for me and I knew this was exactly what I wanted to do.

I was blessed to earn my doula training through one of the most sought after doulas in the area. With each moment I get to practice this amazing craft, I know I'm doing exactly what I'm meant to do. I look forward to helping you through your birthing journey.
