PLANNING AND SUPPORT

Contracted clients will receive continuous contact via phone, text, email and prenatal visits as necessary for the preparation of their labor and delivery. This also includes developing your customized birth plan.

LABOR AND DELIVERY

At 37 weeks, I'll be on-call and available as you near your expected due date. Once contacted, I will arrive as soon as possible to begin walking you through the laboring process, whether that be at home, hospital, or birth center. If you're comfortable at home, I will use a variety of techniques and methods to keep you comfortable until you are ready to go to the hospital/birth center to continue transition, or until you deliver at home with the assistance of a qualified medical professional such as a mid-wife. I will be in attendance of the birth and remain with you up to 2 hours postpartum.

PRENATAL APPOINTMENTS

In addition to our one-on-one prenatal consultations, I will attend one provider appointment prior to delivery, at your request.

POSTPARTUM VISITS

Two postpartum visits included within the month following delivery. Any additional visits will be considered Post Partum Care and will be charged as "AT HOME CARE" rates.

AT HOME CARE - $30-50/HR

Includes preparing your space for comfort, for feeding and rest. Also includes infant care as needed for you to recover. Light house keeping and meal preparation included if desired. Client experience is customized based on client needs.

A LA CART MEAL PREP SERVICES - $30/HR + COST OF INGREDIENTS

Customizable nourishing meal options based on your preferences and dietary needs. Meals will be prepared in your home with organic and whole food ingredients. 

I am also available for teen or single mothers, surrogate families, and adoptive mothers on a case by case, sliding scale basis. I believe there are circumstances that require flexibility and in some cases, discounted or free support. This is why I believe so much in the role of a doula and why I expand my role to make sure anyone who needs a doula, can obtain one with my best efforts.

*A non-refundable deposit of 50% of your chosen package is required at the time of contract signing.

*All contracted clients will receive continuous text, email and phone support without additional charges. 

*In the event of a health complication arising, I will NOT impose additional fees for attending necessary prenatal doctor's appointments or an earlier delivery date. 

*Prices and packages are subject to change without notice. This will not impact currently contracted clients.

*Empress Doula and it's providers are not medical professionals and are not liable for any medical complications that may arise during labor and/or delivery.
